Welcome

We warmly welcome you to the website of the Southern Districts Reformed Baptist Church. Our website is designed to serve a two-fold purpose.

Firstly, we want to let you know who we are and how we can be found. The church is named ‘Southern Districts’ because we are located in south west Sydney. The church building (St Marks Anglican) is close to several major roads including the M5 and Canterbury Road. We are also within easy each of bus stops and the Bexley North train station. We call ourselves a ‘Reformed church’ because we are committed to the historic, evangelical truths of the Christian faith. 

Secondly, we want to use the internet to promote Biblical Christianity. It is our conviction that Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life, without whom there is no meaning to our existence and no hope for the afterlife. For this reason we have made available on-line sermons and articles in the hope to encourage those who don’t know the Lord to seek Him. We also hope to strengthen other Christian believers in the truth. In an age when so many voices are calling for our attention and false teaching abounds it is our prayer that through this website the voice of Jesus Christ might be heard.

The main focus of the pulpit ministry is expository preaching through the books of the Bible. Over the years we have studied Matt 5 – 7 (Christ’s Sermon on the Mount), Ephesians, Philippians, 1 Kings 17 – 2 Kings 2 (The life of Elijah), Ruth and Jonah. What we believe

We believe that the Old and New Testament is the inspired and infallible Word of God, and the only authoritative rule for faith and practice.

We believe that the God of the Scriptures is the only true and living God. He is one God that co-exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Our online audio sermon library is a work in progress. We hope to keep updating it on a regular basis. Included here will be the Sunday pulpit ministry of Andrew Harrison and also the other men who have contributed over the years.
