Pulpit Ministry
The main focus of the pulpit ministry is expository preaching through the books of the Bible. Over the years we have studied Matt 5 – 7 (Christ’s Sermon on the Mount), Ephesians, Philippians, 1 Kings 17 – 2 Kings 2 (The life of Elijah), Ruth and Jonah. We are presently working through the book of Hebrews.
Book studies are also complimented with topical or thematic sermons. Some of these series have included: The life and ministry of Jesus Christ, suffering, the Word of God, the ordinances of the church.

Youth Group
The youth group is made up of young people of high school age. We meet on the first and third Fridays of each month during school terms at the St Marks building (7pm – 9:30pm). The format of the evening is to study the Bible for approximately one hour followed by refreshments and activities. During each term we have an outing.
Since the inception of the youth group in 2006 our young people have engaged in a series of studies based on the book of Ecclesiastes, the 10 Commandments, the book of Proverbs. We are presently looking at a series on the attributes of God.
Prayer Meeting
The church comes together specifically to pray for one hour prior to the service on Sunday mornings. We are committed to the practice of having a designated meeting for prayer and do not believe that prayer should merely be ‘tacked’ on to other meetings.
Fellowship
It is our conviction that fellowship among believers is vital to our spiritual health. Scripture teaches that fellowship was an integral part of what it meant when the early church came together. For this reason we have a lunch together once per month and seek to create other opportunities by way of outings, picnics and personal hospitality.
